When is this going to be available for all Pocket PC Devices?
I love Vista! I love the look and the functionality of it all. I am impressed with the speed of opening windows and even more impressed with the 3D switching of windows. But, and you knew there was a but coming didnt you, why is the Windows Mobile Device Center not properly compatible with all PPC devices. On the 5536 version, I decided to upgrade my PPC to Windows Mobile 5.0 and the WMDC recognized it properly so that i was technically able to sync my contacts, appointments etc. But this wasn't working as it should either but I just assumed this was because it was a BETA version and would be sorted in the RC1 version. Maybe it is, but I haven't been able to confirm this as I had to downgrade my PPC to PPC 2003 version as the 5.0 was too slow on it, probably due to the spec of the PPC. So, please hurry up Microsoft and complete my only misery with marvellous Vista! Oh and while you are at it, take a look at Directory Opus as an example of how to do File Managers! And also, take a look at ObjectBar 2.0 to see how Sidebars should be done!
